Since the theatres are shut, most of the filmmakers have been opting for OTT releases but this Maqbool Khan directorial has also been released overseas in limited capacity as well. With the collections of day one in United States of America and New Zealand, Khaali Peeli’s Box office collections have been disastrous. The collections suggest that audiences have stayed away from cinema halls in wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
In the USA territory, Khaali Peeli has grossed 363 USD [Rs. 26,616] from 11 screens, with three of them yet to report with an average of 33 USD per screen. At the New Zealand box office, the film has grossed 419 USD [Rs. 30,722] from 7 screens with an average of 60 USD per screen.
