While Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that had collected Rs. 29.40 cr and Uri – The Surgical Strike that had collected Rs. 29.21 cr claim the first two spots, Tanhaji has managed to surpass other releases like 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 15.63 cr, Chhichhore that collected Rs. 15.30 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 15.08 cr, Padmaavat that collected Rs. 14.17 cr, PK that collected Rs. 13.55 cr, and Bahubali - The Beginning that had collected Rs. 12.10 cr.
Currently, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, that was declared tax free in certain territories, is on its last leg in theatres. However, the film has managed to stun not just the audience but also the industry by emerging as a massive sleeper hit.
